Please refrain from multiposting. If you need to post to multiple groups,
cross post instead..
As I said in the functions group, trust your customers. There is very little
you can do if someone is determined to
use a spreadsheet. Copy and paste to another workbook for instance after
disabling macros..
Since you are using OE you can do this, you start by selecting new message
and naturally that will post a message to the group you are currently in,
however in the new post window you will see
News Server
Newsgroups::
if you click on the Newsgroups icon you will get a choice to select from in
the left pane and there you can just select the NGs by holding down ctrl
while clicking on them. Then click on the add button so you can see them in
the right pane.
The reason multiposting is annoying to the people who answer them is that
sometimes you put down quite a lot of effort to solve somebody's problem and
if you then find out the poster has received several answers already in
other NGs you feel like you wasted your time. So it is considered impolite
and selfish. With crossposting however you can see if somebody else has
answered the question already regardless if it was answered in another NG..
