I have Microsoft Word 2000 as part of my MicroSoft Office Suite 2000
operating on my laptop with Window XP.

My templates for MicroSoft Word are stored in “C:\Documents and
Settings\Owner\Application Data\Microsoft\Templatesâ€; however, I can not
access them via Windows Explorer. There is no folder shown under Owner for
Application Data. How do I find that folder and view it.

In Windows Explorer, go to Tools > Folder Options > View and click
"Show hidden files and folders". That will make the Application Data
folder (and many others) visible.

While you're there, I recommend also unchecking the box for "Hide
extensions for known file types". The problem with hiding extensions
is that viruses can sneak onto your computer by naming themselves
something like "prize.doc.exe" or "my_dog.jpg.exe". They count on you
leaving the ".exe" part hidden, and when you double-click the icon to
open what you think is a document or a picture, the virus code runs.
