Location of Outlook Files and folders

I hope this will be considered as something I can ask in this newsgroup. I
have just installed Outlook 2003. When using Outlook Express, I have backed
up files and folders by using the full path to where they are stored and then
dragging and dropping them to an external hard drive. But I do not know where
the similar files are located when using Outlook.

If someone could direct me to the location I would be most grateful. I
assume that in Outlook the files may not be *.dbx. Does anyone know the file
extension?
