Location of Insertion Point When Opening Saved Documents

Hi,
When I save and then reopen a document in Word 2000, the insertion point
moves to the beginning of the document. Is there some way to change that
functionality so that Word remembers where the insertion point was when I
last saved the document?

That should have been "on opening"--but I guess you figured that out!
