Locating non Archived Emails

I'm having problems with my computer and want to back up my non archived
emails but don't know where they're located.

Often when I go into Outlook XP, my computer crashes so there's really no
way to archive these messages.

What I plan to do is forward them to another email address and then pick
them up through my Yahoo email address to back them up there but need to know
where to go in the first place!

Thanks

HI Tami,

the main file is the pst file
the default path is C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
You can make a backup with the official Programm PFBACKUP.

All of your messages, contacts, etc. are in a file with a .pst file
extension. Note that you'll need to be able to view hidden files to find it
when you search for it. That is the file that you need to back up. Keep in
mind that, once your .pst file is found and backed up, you will need Outlook
to be able to open the file before you can forward anything.

Thanks.

Thanks again,
