How do I stop the Locate Link Browser dialog box from displaying when I click
a Web link in an e-mail message? I'm using a Windows XP OS, Outlook 2003,
Windows IE, and Comcast as my ISP.

According to an article (ID821692) I read under Microsoft support, this
problem was identified when using a Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer and
a 3rd party browser that does not support Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) such as
Netscape Navigator. The resolution is to not use DDE. I tried deselecting
this option to see if it would work for my system, but the dialog box still
displays.

Thx,
K

Either enter %ProgramFiles%\Internet Explorer\Iexplore.exe in the box, or
start IE and click Tools>Internet Options>Programs>Reset Web Settings
