1.83GB is the maximum size you should reach. 100 MB shouldn't cause any
problems.

Is anyone aware of any size restrictions on this file in
Outlook? I have a client that has one approx. 100MB in
size and there are some strange happenings with her
email. Any input is appreciated. Thank you.
 
There is a lot of issue letting the files get that big.
Not sure which version of outlook that they are running
but there is a feature to compact the size the file
through mail settings. I would create a "new" .pst file
and move some data out then compact the original file.

There is a lot of issue letting the files get that big.

The OP said the pst file was 100 Mb. Since the pst can be ten times that
size, how is 100 Mb a problem?
