We have a LAN with 16 computers working with Windows 95,
98, ME and XP. The main computer of the group has Windows
ME without problems serving the 16 machines. Now we added
a new computer taking the roll of the server of the
group, but only 10 computers (any one) can comunicate
with it. After the first 10 are conected, the other
receive a message that the solicitude can not be
fullfilled, please wait. How can we increase the number
of users?

The Windows XP EULA allows 5 concurrent connections for Windows XP Home and
10 for Windows XP Professional.

To way this goto Start>>Run>>Type "winver" hit enter, then click End User

Right from XP Por's EULA

or other electronic devices (each a "Device") to connect
to the COMPUTER to utilize the services of the SOFTWARE
solely for File and Print services, Internet Information
services, and remote access (including connection sharing
and telephony services). The ten (10) Connection Maximum
includes any indirect connections made through
"multiplexing" or other software or hardware which pools
or aggregates connections. Except as otherwise permitted
below, you may not use the Device to use, access, display
or run the SOFTWARE, the SOFTWARE's
User Interface or other executable software residing
