Local Area Network Over Wireless

I have a laptop in the office, we have both wireless
connection and local area network, cable which i can plug
in.

When i log in with a network cable plugged into my
laptop, it picks the wireless connection up instead of
LAN.

How do i get the PC to run on LAN than wireless

I have played around with the connections and selecting
LAN both still it runs on wireless.

Any ideas?

Laptop : XP / Built in wireless card
 
Yeah sorry i have tried that and it comes with an error
along the lines.....'it is not possible to diable
connection at this time. Connection may be using one or
more protocols that do not support plug and play or may
initiated by another person or system account'

Any ideas???

What you can do is 'disable' the wireless connection.
Click to expand...
Goto My Network Places, then click on View Network
Connections, right click on the Wireless LAN connection
and select Disble.
