is it possible to convert during the loading process datatypes
ds1.ReadXml(reader, XmlReadMode.Auto)


my problem is a date format from rss which comes a string

Fri, 09 May 2003 09:53:17 GMT

and is then not usefull sortable in dataview

Hi Hannes,

I don't think there is possible to control the loading process.
Why don't you rather adjust source beforehand with an xsl transformation or
something like that?

but i dont like the long way to manual do the job
must exits a short way with a few lines of code
