Loading spreadsheets when starting Excel

Hi, when i start up excel either by clicking on a spreadsheet or just
starting it from a menu two previously used spreadsheets automaticlly
load with it. While I can see value to this feature I would like to not
load these two spreadsheets. This must be an easy fix, does anyone know
how? Thanks.
 
Hi, I figured it out from a previous post. Files in the alternive
directory are loaded automatically. I just removed them and it stopped.
Thanks anyway!
 
I think that most people leave the files where they are, but erase that entry in
that tools|options box.
