Loading Back Up Folder

I have a laptop with winXP and I had to use the recovery program in the
advanced option mode where it made a back up folder of my files and
settings.

How do I restore all this info from this folder back into the computer. I
went to the backup/restore program but it asks for "bkp" files and I
couldn't find any in the backup folder that XP created.

I've already restored email messages/folders and address book by copying.
But shouldn't a few clicks somewhere make this whole backup folder load up
???

Contact the manufacturer of the laptop if you do not get further help
from here. Recovery CDs are not standardized and so maybe no-one else
can say what you have to do here. Also check the manual for the
computer, the procedure may be described there.
