Load Needed dlls for kernel

I had a machine with NT 4.0 loaded on it. I upgraded to
XP, and this message came up during the final
restart "Load needed dlls for kernel" Tells me to let the
administrator know, but I am the administrator.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Did you run the Windows XP Upgrade Advisor prior to
commencing with the upgrade?

require Service Pack 5 to be installed prior to upgrading to Windows XP. However,

No I didn't this time. This computer was one of 25+
others that have the same configuration and previous
Windows NT workstation. Others have taken the upgrade to
Windows XP with no problem, so I guess I didn't even
check this one.

Where can I go from here?
