My PC was working fine until I got a new Broadband setup. I had to use
the network port to attach the DSL modem (the old one was USB, but this
is not) and therefore I lost my network connection to my flatmates pc.
I thought if I added a second network card, then I could regain access
to my little workgroup, but it remains with the message 'Llimited or no
connectivity'. Does anyone know whats up with this?

This message means you are not getting a DHCP address. Do you know
what type of authentication your DSL uses ex PPOE. If it does use
authentication, was this being handled by your old software? If not
have you called your provider? Most DSL i have dealt with use mac auth
which will have changed when you put in a new modem.
