Using Norton Systemworks 2002 I ran LiveUpdate weekly
with no problem on my single user XP Home Edition
computer. During one run routine run, LiveUpdate would
not run stating that Administrator privileges needed to
be granted to the user. I have uninstalled Norton, moved
up to Norton Systemworks 2003 and still get the same
problem. I am running XP Home Edition SP1 and have the
latest updates applied. Any help would be appreciated.
Systemworks is functional except I am unable to get all
applicable updates.

Brian. Thanks for your reply. I'm not sure
where "schedule tasks" is located. Is that part of XP or
Norton Systemworks. Also, I have never used a password
before on this XP system. There is only one user
defined, as that user does show up as an administrator.
Thanks again. Rob

Slightly different question: How can you get scheduled tasks to run if
nobody is logged on?
