I am trying to get powerpoint to pick up a signal from a cam to show live
pictures, but not sure if its possible, anyone please???

Thanks but iwant it to run on from a live camcorder, not for a website, i'll
try it any way

You can link to your cam program. For example, create a button, select it and
go to Slide Show > Action Settings > Run and insert the path to your cam
program. Run your presentation and click on the button. Note: You might get a
virus warning. You can disable this on the system running the presentation by
going to http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00406.htm

Thanks let me explain what i'm trying to do, i want to show 2 different
cameras in one window and i thought maybe powerpoint would be able to do it,
so i want the camera to run in a "insert pic" type box

You'll need to research this on the manufacturer's website I guess. I don't
have two cameras, but the software that came with mine will only run one
instance. If you know how to do this on a web page, you might reconsider
Glenna's suggestion and set it up in HTML and then use LiveWeb to show the page
which shows both cameras.
