Linda

I tried to do a live broadcast using the school's
intranet server. Everything will go well as long as I do
not use animation and slide transitions. How can I use
these actions and have a usable playback for the people
who can not be there for the broadcast? The playback
keeps repeating the 1st and 2nd slides.

Much Help Needed.

Linda, can you give us some more info? What version of PowerPoint,
Operating System and any other applications involved. What happens when you
use animations and transitions?

Good Morning Mike:
My operating system is Windows XP and I am using
PowerPoint 2002. When I start the broadcast, Microsoft
Window Media get involved. If I add animation and/or
slide transitions to my presentation some the first two
slides will start and stop and repeat itself. (Example:
The 1st bullet will come in and then the 2nd will start,
then slide will start over and the 1st bullet will come
back in again.) This happen only when you replay the
broadcast.

Linda, I don't have the broadcast feature on this computer to test with.
When you say, "Microsoft Window Media" gets involved I don't know if you
mean Windows Media Encoder, Windows Media Services or Windows Media Player.
The following url talks about using Windows Media for your broadcast. Maybe
you have similar settings.
