Linda

Today my Windows Mail opened by opening a message, not showing the list of
messages I received. What happened? How do I correct this problem, I want to
see the list and pick which ones to read, not have one opened for me. This
never happened before.

Maybe it was a fluke and won't happen again.
If you use the preview pane, it will automatically display whatever
message is selected in the message list. If you don't like that, you
can turn the preview pane off.

necesito ayuda ya que no conosco de computadora no puedo mirar mis menssages
sipudieran ayudarme en espanol gracias

Hi Linda!

Do I understand this correct?
You start windows mail and see the folders view, but not the mail/news list
and preview pane, even the list headers aren't visible?

Did you install SP1?
Do you use several users on your pc and switch between them (maybe via WIN+L
key)?

I found, that after switching from user A to B or logging off user A and
logging in user B, B cannot see his/her mail list, but this inbox shows the
correct number of new/unread mail. Newsgroup access is impossible too,
because no posting is shown ...

This happened after installing Vista SP1.
Meanwhile I installed IE8 preview, but this bug remains after deinstalling
IE8 ...

Maybe some MS guy can help us?

Best regards
Thomas

As far as I can tell, no one from Microsoft has been reading this newsgroup
for the last few months.
