There used be a weekly(or monthly) announcement listing all the new email lists.
It was called "Liszt" or something similar. I would appreciate any info
regarding this. Thanks.

Mark Carter still does them. They are entitled

Thank you for pointing me to Mark's contribution.

The "Liszt?" that I was trying to locate, describes new mailing lists (on all
sorts of topics, not software)as they come out and gives subscribe/unsubscribe
information. Incidentally it was run by a lady (woman/female or whatever you
want call the fair sex :-) ).
