List limitations on Combo box

Has anyone experienced any limits on the number of items in the combo box? I
want to link the combo box to the part numbers table but want to make sure
it's ok because we have a list of about 2,000 parts. Did anyone experience
system slowdown before?

For well-designed tables in JET (Access tables), you won't notice much
performance slow down with several thousand records. Around 8000 records,
you will notice that the form takes longer to open.

If they are attached tables, you may need to change the setting under:
Tools | Options | Edit/Find | Don't display lists...

If you have tens of thousands of records, you might consider delay-loading
the combo, i.e. wait until the 3rd keystroke before loading records into the
combo's RowSource, so there are never more than a few hundred loaded. For
