Linux boot off a flash stick?

Has anyone tried the following on Vista:
http://www.pendrivelinux.com/2007/01/01/usb-knoppix-510 ?

Curious to see if it will work or not. I'm going to get a 1GB flash drive
tomorrow and give a bash.
