Linq to SQL vs Ado.Net Entity Framework

EF is what MS plan to enhance moving forward, so from
a strategic point of view it makes sense to go for
EF.

The main reason I can see to stick with LINQ to SQL
is that it is simpler.

That is not a good argument for Big Biz Inc, but
if want to learn ORM, then you may find it easier
to start with a simpler framework.

Things are still up in the air as to what direction Link-2-SQL is going
to go. Is Link-2-SQL going to be developed in the manner of ADO.NET EF?
The word is that Link-2-SQL will not be developed like EF. On the other
hand, Linq-2-SQL is still around, I think is due to its simplicity.
