linksys WMP300N wireless-N network card help.

ever since i installed this network card my computer restarts
randomly. i've googled it and come to the conclusion that its my
bcmwl5.sys file that is bad. i found a link to download a new on
that has helped other people with the same problem. but i replaced
the file, restarted my computer and then my wireless card doesn't
even work at all. can anyone help me??

Removing individual files is generally not a good idea, if that is
what you did. Did you keep the old file and rename it, as part of
your experiment ? It would be better to just uninstall one whole
package and install another. The people here seemed pretty
motivated. I'd have just taken the crap back to the store.

Try uninstalling the package.
