Links to Previous Posts in New Posts

Hi all,

How do I insert a link to a previous post into a new post using OE?

Thanks for all the help. There are a lot of knowledgeable, friendly people
here that are so willing to share their knowledge and teach us. I learn so
much from you all.

If you select the post you want to link to and click "Reply Group", OE
will create a message with a leader that looks like this:

"Conan Kelly" <CTBarbarin at msn dot com> wrote in message

You can copy the link, from "up to but not including the "..." --
what is probably underlined as a hyperlink in the above example -- and
paste it into another message. Then you can discard the reply message
you created.
 
Thanks for the help, Dirk. Right after I sent this post, I thought that
this would be one way of doing it. I just thought that there might be a
more official way of doing it.
