Links on site will not appear

Strange event...

An old neighbour (not his age!) works with XP and IE 6.
The site http://www.xs4all.nl/~bpolak/ has on the left and the rigt in blue
some links.
These ones will not appear in IE, the only thing you see is a small
"x"......

On my PC everything works fine, I checked the configuaration of IE but
I can't see anything that is not well configured but maybe I forget
something......

Your help will be appreciated.

They are "Hover buttons" implemented in Java.
It is likely a problem with your Java support.

Search for others' discussions about enabling Java
if you need more help.
