I am creating a form letter template in Word and have the customer's company
name listed three places in the form. I want to be able to type the Company
Name once and have all three places filled in. I can get it to work in the
template itself, but when someone else uses it, it doesn't work. I have used
Copy and Special Paste with a Link.

See http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Repeating_Data.htm for a better method.

Take a look at what Word calls an "online form." Check this in help. For
more about online forms, follow the links at
http://addbalance.com/word/wordwebresources.htm#Forms or
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/FillinTheBlanks.htm especially Dian
Chapman's series of articles.

Hope this helps,
