links in email are slow

I just bought a Toshiba Satellite laptop with 17" screen, XP Pro, Office
2003. When I click on a link in Outlook it take at least 5 seconds for the
computer to get on the internet. I am using a cable modem at home and a T1
at work. Any help would be appreciated.

Use another email program for faster access.
