Linking to outlook

I have a contacts management database. I want to be able to create links to
outlook that allow the contact dates within our database to auto populate the
user's outlook calendar
Suggestions?
 
Is it an access database? You can add a reference to Outlook and then you
will need to create an appointment using VBA. Search the outlook group on
google for some examples.
