Hi,

I have a problem linking TIF files into my PowerPoint presentation. The
PowerPoint presentation and the TIF file is in the same folder. The TIF file
is linked into the presentation using the Picture/From File option in the
Input menu. From what I know about PowerPoint, a relative link should be
created. But that's not the case. If I move the PowerPoint file and the TIF
file to another folder, the link is broken. Any ideas what could be wrong?

If you were linking sounds or movies, you'd be ok; for those, PPT creates a
relative link if the linked file is in the same folder as the PPT.

For pictures, another set of rules applies.

Are we having fun yet? ;-)

As TAJ mentions, have a look at FixLinks. The free demo version will fix your
image links, by the way. Unless you also need movies/sounds/other_stuff
link-fixed, you're in business at no charge. Enjoy!
