linking laptop / notebook to TV moniter

Does anyone know how to use a laptop ocmputer to dual view the display on a TV or CD projector? I knew how to do it in Milenium by going to display, properties, advanced, then click the tab S# then check the dual view icon and choose either TV and LCD or CDP and LCD. I cannot seem to do this in WP. Have also tried Function key with F5 button. No luck.
