Please help! I am new to this and I cannot figure out how to link databases.
I have a main database with clients names, company title, company addresses
etc., and I want to link other databases to this so that when I change
something in the main database the others will change.

Could somebody please help.

You are in the PowerPoint NewsGroup, not the Access NewsGroup.

However, to do what you want, open the database you want to include "linked"
tables in. Click the "Tables" TAB in the Database Window. Click the "File"
menu, highlight "Get External Data", and click "Link tables". Browse to the
desired database and select the tables you want to link. When done, the
Table icon will appear but with an arrow signifying it is linked. Now if
you update records in that table, the data is actually being contained in
the other database. The only real problem with linking is that the files
must remain where they are so the "link" will always work.
