linking 2 fields so they both have the same text

How do I create linked fields so that if I type something one place in a Word
2003 document it automatically appears in other places within the document?
For example if I type the name "Jane" at the first occurrance, I want her
name to appear in every other occurrance in the document it to so I don't
have to retype it mutiple times. Thanks for your response!
