linked workbook

I have a linked workbook, when i change the color in the
source, how do i get the color change in the linked book.
It stays black. any help is appreciated.

Hi Dakota

only the values are linked. Excel formulas do not 'transfer' formats,
etc. So color changes are not changed in the target cell
