Linked pictures in a table do not show

Hi,
I have a document template that has text and at the bottom of the page a
table that I add pictures too. If i link the pictures into that table and
save the document then next time I open it the picture does not appear. I
used to link the pictures into a text box and that worked fine but since
then we have needed the pictures to always stay the same size and in the
same position and adding text boxes doesn't allow that. Is there a way that
I can link pictures into a table so that they appear again on opening later?

Hi Lenny,

FWIW, as far as I know, there is generally no problem in getting pictures to
display in tables, in either Word 2003 or Word 2000. If you try printing such
a page, do the pictures print?

Is this only on your machine, or does it also happen on other machines?

If you press Alt+F9 you should be able to see the IncludePicture fields that
manage the links. Check the file path: does it appear as you'd expect, or has
Word perhaps changed it in some way?
