Link Contacts or Calender to Files or folders?

Just wondering,

Is it possible to link a contact or calendar item to an external file
or folder?

E.g. I went to a christening yesterday and took lots of pictures,
these are saved in a folder on my hard drive. I have an entry in my
calendar for the christening and would like to 'link' this to the
folder of pictures.

What version of Outlook are you using and do you have Journalling active?
