I am using a mailto link on a site like:

mailto:[email protected]?subject=This%20is%20a%20nice%20subject&body=For%20your%20information:%0d%0aAnother%20line%20here%0d%0a%0d%0a%0d%0a%0d%0aMore%20information%20here%0d%0a%0d%0a

As you can see there are line breaks represented by %0a%0a code. Thes work
ok in my outlook - that is when I click on the link a new mail window open
with the email to, subject and body shown correctly.

However, when my client clicks on the link, they see two non-alphanumeric
characters where the line breaks should be.

Any ideas why this may be? Is this a set up issue?

Thanks,

Mike

I'm unsure exactly as they are a big company, but it will be IE6 and a
recent Outlook - I am trying to get a more accurate answer from them.

Are there issues like this for different versions?

Thanks,

Mike

Not sure, but since it works for you (and me) I'm trying to find the
differnces in setup

The closest I can get to a version number is: "they are using office 2000
mostly".

Does this help at all?

Thanks,

Mike
