Line Spacing

My line spacing is set to 1 but when I enter and go to a new line it looks like it is 1.5.

Line spacing is not controlled by the Enter key. Every
time you press the Enter key Word starts a new paragraph.
Paragraph spacing is controlled by
Format>Paragraph>Spacing Before or After
