Line Spacing

I have a user that has a problem with line spacing that I cannot figure out.
She has an Excel document that is emailed to her, and every so often, she has
a line spacing that is about twice the size of the rest of the spacing in the
document. I have tried to resize, but it doesn't save. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi,

We really need more info, like the file when the problem is occuring.

It could be that the is a macro in the file which is causing the problem.
It could be that one cell on the row has word wrap applied automatically or
manually.

I have checked for word wraping, but could not find any, and I selected the
whole document, and tried to get the line spacing set, just the way I always
do. I figured it has a Macro in the document that causes line 11, and line 52
to doublespace itself, but could not find the Macro. How do I see if Macros
are in the document? Thanks...

Perhaps those cells have a linefeed in them caused by Alt + Enter.

Do you see a small square box in those cells?

If so go to Edit>Replace

What: ctrl + j

With: nothing

Replace all.

You keep saying document, and line spacing. These are not Excel terms but
Word terms. This makes me wonder if you are looking at Excel or Word? In
word we have Workbooks or worksheets and row height.

Looking for small square boxes in cells does not always work, generally you
see these squares if you have used Alt Enter but turned off word wrap. Also
remember that Alt Enter can be done on an empty cell.

Try selecting all blank cells on one of these rows and choosing Edit, Clear
All.
