limited or no connectivity

I am trying to network two xp os one which has sp2 installed. Both the pc's
used the network setup wizard.When all steps were followed the pc that has
the sp2 states "limited or no connectivity".Both pc's can see themselves but
not each other.. What have I done wrong....PLEASE HELP

The "limited or no connectivity" simply says that the computer is setup for
automatic address assignment, but no server was available to issue an address.
This may or may not be an actual problem.

Please start by providing "ipconfig /all" for both computers, and we'll diagnose
the problem.
