limited connectivity

well i have just got my 2nd router because my 1st one was palying up and over
heating to the amount of downlaod and uptime of it runing.
now i have got a netgear dg834g, but some times its keeps on coming up with
limited connectivity. i have tried to repiar it then i get the same message
after while when there internet is back. i have tried change changing the ip
address and getway manaully and i still get the same thing.

any help around?
 
it could be hardware settings.

hey! u have to check up lan card properties that is speed whether it is
half duplex or full duplex? generally it is Auto detcet mode.
Change it & let me know
