Limited account users

Hey People,
I am a system admin in a lab in a school. We have
setup limited accounts on all systems in the labs for the
students, to prevent them from downlaoding and installing
stuff... But for a particular class we need to let them
have access to certain administrative privilleges like
connecting usb devices and stuff...I wanted to know if
there was a way to customize the limited users account
option so as to grant them particular or limited
administrative privilleges...
I am open to any input or alternative on this subject..Can
any1 help?????????

If it's XP Home Edition, you are pretty well stuck.

If you have XP Pro, you can use the group policy editor, explained and
described in the following Knowledge Base Article:

Under the contrition of using the GPE, you will probably find it easier to
create an administrator group with very limited privileges as opposed to
granting extra privileges to limited users.
