Help!
I have a user that is impossible to train, who keeps about 9 instances of
outlook running at all times and can not figure out why he has 400 reminders
pop up every day. Is there a way to limit Outlook 2000 on Windows Xp to one
instance?

It should do that already. If it doesn't it is most often caused by an
add-in that calls Outlook again and again most likely virusscanners,
anti-spam solutions and synch software.

Tips of the month:
-Properly back-up and restore your Outlook data
-Creating a Permanent New Mail Desktop Alert in Outlook 2003

FWIW, having multiple instances doesn't result in more reminders, just more
windows. Only one outlook profile can be opened at once and additional
clicks on the icon opens more windows (unless you use the recycle switch).
if reminders are duplicated, something else is wrong - such as there are
duplicate items in the folders.
