How do you limit the number of login connections to a windows server (not a
share) for a user?

Thanks,

You can limit which machine names they're allowed to log into, but I don't
know of any way to limit the number of concurrent connections....

Do you know where I can download it from? I can't seem to find it on
Microsoft's web site.

You need to purchase the Windows 2000 Server Resource Kit to get it. It
also requires SQL Server.

are there any requirements for SQL CALs for the clients?

Yes, normal licensing rules apply.

so each cconnect client needs a SQL CAL (or run it against a per-processor
licenced SQL box).....?

had hoped it might be the same as SMS, where only the host application needs
a SQL CAL (plus CALs for any users directly accessing SQL)

cheers

You'd need to read up on Cconnect and the licensing rules.
