I have a client looking to establish an RDP connection via the web. The client is currently using SBS2k with 10 CALs what kind of licenses are required

Do you know where I could find documentation about this goal?

they need F/P CALs and if they are running XP Pro or 2000 then they don't
need TS CALs but you will still have to setup a license server

What are F/p Cals? I need to install Terminal License and get Terminal
Server CALs. Do I need to change the system from Administrator mode to
Application mode?

Just a guess, but I believe that Mark means normal server CALs
(F/P would be File/Print CALs then). You already have 10, just
check if that is sufficient.

If you want to make TS available for multiple users, then you have
to install it in Application Server mode. Note that this is *not*
recommended on a SBS2000 server, and totally impossible on the
next version of SBS (2003).

If you do this anyway, you will also need to install and activate
a TS Licensing Server and install TS CALs for every client that
does not run W2K Pro or XP Pro. (* Pro clients receive a free TS
CAL from the TS Licensing server, as soon as it is activated).

If you have only one single client that wants to connect to the
TS, then you could run it in Remote Administration mode, meaning
that you don't need a TS Licensing Server, nor TS CALs. You would
have to give that user explicit rights on the rdp-tcp connection,
since by default only Administrators are allowed to run TS in
Remote Administration mode.

Isn't Application Server mode only used for sharing a desktop like
Citrix Winframe?

All I want to do is use a server as a springboard. There are 5 users
that would like to remote control their systems via the internet (via
internet cafes...). Currently the router is passing the RDP and port
80 to the SBS 2k server. The users will put into their browsers the
Domain/TSWeb and when asked for the server they will put in their
internal machine name or ip address. I was informed that it is
possible.

What needs to be done to get it to work? Do I need to open other
ports? Install TS on a sep system? Change TS modes from Admin to App?
Purchase TS licenses? Is there a doc that describes evrything so I do
not need to keep asking these questions?

btw - the desktop clients are all Win2k Pro or Win XP Pro and the
server is SBS 2k (=Win2k Serv)

No, then you don't have to install TS in Application server mode.
Just read my previous post in this thread about Remote
Administration mode. Will serve your purpose for a maximum of 2
concurrent connections, no additional licenses needed.

A good starting point for reading is

The complete deployment guide is online available there.

I understand the license issue I am trying to get it to work 1st with
1 user then 2 then license. I type into the browse the router's public
ip/tsweb and the interface appears. I then enter the server(Machine on
the internal net that I want to control), screen size, user account
and dom name). The browser goes throught the router on the other side
to the TSWeb virtual dir (are there any settings I need to know on
here?) and then to the TSAC. It then displays the error message of
"The specified remote computer could not be found."

Any feedback?

I'm not very familiar with TSweb, but have you verified that the
client machines have Remote Desktop enabled?
To exclude router problems, does it work when you try to connect
from one client to the other *within the LAN*?

I want to use the TSWeb server as my springboard.
I type in the "IP/Tsweb" and I am sent to my server behind the
firewall. I then put in the users machine name (in place of server)
and select the user info checkbox. I am then notified that the ip
address or machine name could not be found.
The <Machine Name>/tsweb address works fine from behind the firewall.
What is going on?
