Library constantly corrupted

I used to be able to fix this by deleting the old one. Now MP10 says that
the file is in use, which it isn't. In any case it can't be deleted,
renamed, or removed. So is there a way to fix a corrupted library?

I tried re-installing MP10. I tried SCANNOW.

Also, why does MP10 store playlists to the "rip music destination" folder?

Close WMP before trying to delete it.

It's the design. The Rip Music folder starts off as My Music. If you
move it, the Playlist folder follows.

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear when I said " MP10 says that the file is in
use, which it isn't. " I meant to say that MP10 wasn't running. When MP10
isn't running, i.e. from a clean boot, when it never ran at all, I still get
the message that the file is in use, and I still can't rename, move, or
delete it.
