Help please tried to install lexmark X73 all in one printer fax copier in
Windows XP Proffessional.Used the installation disc and also the latest
drivers posted on lexmark site.It installs the printer part of software then
when installing the scanner part ie lxscan.dll it just restarts the
machine.When i maaged to install it in safe mode and it said to restart
pc,it would not allow xp pro to start up.I know theres a problem somewhere
but what do i do to get the scanner side working.
Lexmark are useless at trying to sort it out.

I am having almost the same problem with my Lexmark z82

printer fax. I hope we find the solution soon. I can
print ok but when I try to scan it says bad usb port or
something is using twain device. I don't have anything
attached to usb port except my logitech wireless mouse.
Lexmark was no help for me either.
