Lexmark x73 printer problems

I downloaded and installed the drivers from Lexmark
designated for Windows XP. I recieved several warnings
during installation that the drivers were not certified
by Microsoft. These were the only drivers available so I
installed them anyway.

The printer will not print! The printer box shows on the
screen and indicates the data is going to the printer but
nothing happens. I have checked the cable, port and
printer and all seem ok.

I need help.

YOU MAY HAVE TO UNINSTALL AND REINSTALL THAT'S WHAT I
