Lexmark X125 Utility properties

My X125 will not allow me use properties and make changes
(color, paper size, etc.) Lexmark says the problem is in
XP. I keep getting an error message, PDP properties MFC
application. I have communicated with Lexmark and ran all
of the test. The printer works perfect in all of the
other modes, except properties.
