My son wanted to type up a resume but we could not see how to do it. Could
you simply explain how to proceed with letter writing. Thank you, buell blue

For a resume, you really need some type of word processor or resume writing
software.
Neither is included in any version of Windows.

You'll need a word processing program. You can buy MS Word, or check
www.openoffice.org for a free word processor.

Ron;
I would not consider WordPad acceptable for a resume since it is a very
basic word processor with almost no features desired for even the most basic
of word processing.
But if that is all the OP needs...

Human Resource sectretaries look for keywords in a resume, NOT
formatting.

I would say that Notepad is not acceptable, but not WordPad.
The WordPad toolbar has font type, font size, script, bold, italic,
underline, font color, left, center,and right justify, bullets.
What else do you need for a resume?

Ron;
You and Plato are both correct.
I was confusing WordPad with Notepad.
I never use WordPad so I sometimes forget their are two separate programs
available.
