Letter format drop-down list (Data Validation)

I made a drop-down list by using Data Validation, but the
letterformat is much smaller than that of the spreadsheet.
The letter format of the original list that is used in
Data Validation is OK so this cannot be the problem.
Anyone any ideas?

Hi Hans
the font size of the validation listbox cannot be changed. You may have
a look at

for a workaround (zooming the sheet automatically)
